  • ... that the first ray of sunlight on 23 April can cross through the eye socket of the Coyote en Ayuno (pictured) like a pre-Hispanic ritual? Source: "At the beginning of the work, Sebastián commented that the monument would be placed so that the eyes would face east, so that the first ray of sunlight on April 23 would cross through the hole in the eye, and where the beam of light would be projected, a commemorative plaque would be placed, so that every year a pre-Hispanic ritual would be performed to celebrate the founding of the municipality on April 23, 1963." interested to review later today - hooked --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:04, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
Interesting sculpture, on fine sources, all in Spanish and accepted AGF. I like the idea of the hook, but am not yet happy with the exact wording. If the date of 23 April has a specific meaning in prehspanic civilization, it's not in the article, only foundation date. If not the hook is misleading, at least I thought the day was of importance. The image is licensed and almost a must, - hard to imagine that thing without an image. - In the article, I'd try to shrink the infobox, of find more material for the prose, - it looks out of proportion. I think we could do without the map, and have a smaller pic. Other suggestions: mention time and location much sooner in the lead, and only then the several other names, and mention that it's quite an abstract version of a coyote, - I would not have guessed without the title. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:12, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
  • ALT1: ... that the first ray of sunlight on 23 April can pass through the eye of the Coyote en Ayuno (pictured) to celebrate the founding of Nezahualcóyotl, Mexico?
All the other concerns were resolved. (CC) Tbhotch 17:02, 9 July 2022 (UTC)

I prefer ALT1, for giving the location, but if you can incorporate the prehispanic tradition, fine. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:42, 17 July 2022 (UTC)
