2x expanded and sourced (BLP) by Crosstemplejay (talk). Self-nominated at 13:13, 14 June 2017 (UTC).
BLPx2 only applies when a biography was "completely unreferenced before expansion". This article had three references. HOWEVER, this DYK does satisfy the fivefold expansion option: before (9 June 2017) = 422 characters, after (15 June 2017) = 5508 characters, therefore a 13x expansion. IT is neutrally worded, (mostly) cited inline, and free from copyright violations (Earwig flags a number of phrases but theses are job titles, qualifications, etc). The hook is correctly formatted and is interesting. QPQ is in progress.
- ISSUES:
- The sentence in the article supporting him as a "political refugee" is currently unreferenced.
- His rise to VP is not cited in the main article (the above cite is fine but needs to be included in the article itself), and the citation in the introduction is not sufficient.
- The box at the bottom of the page lists him as an MP but this isn't stated or cited anywhere in the article.
