Improvements[edit]

A few things I noticed that could be updated:

The Threats and Genomics sections are great and relevant to have, however, both could stand to be updated/expanded. The Threats section could be updated/expanded to include a lot of current and developing information about responses to ocean acidification, eutrophication, and habitat loss, and more about invasive species issues. These are all currently being investigated with some good papers about each available already. The Genomics section could be expanded to include what is known about genotypic identity and its influences on physiological and ecological function, which also is also backed by some strong, recent research.

The Human Uses section is obviously a bit weak, and draws from a single source. I'm not sure it's deserving of its own section necessarily, but either way, the language could be cleaned up a bit. Perhaps just to offer greater clarity.

Finally, references 11 and 12 could use some updating. Reference 11 has no link, but a full pdf is available at:
