Partner Jonathan Scott[edit]

I'm surprised to see no discussion as to whether Jonathan Scott is appropriately included as her partner in the infobox. Partner is generally something more than dating which is all that the article currently states. Given that they only met in August 2019, it seems like it was added prematurely. Admittedly I don't follow Deschanel or Scott all that closely so I'll defer to others to reach a conclusion. Knope7 (talk) 22:53, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't warrant any further discussion or inclusion in the infobox whatsoever at this point, per WP:BLP and WP:WEIGHT. All the sources tell us is that they were seen on one date. That's not a "partner". It's barely a friendship. Sundayclose (talk) 23:34, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for noticing this. You're right. Although she co-founded HelloGiggles, the linked page has nothing about Deschanel having ADHD. I'm removing it for now, per WP:BLP. Feel free to restore it if you find a reliable source. Sundayclose (talk) 04:39, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
