CHEC obituary[edit]

I've had a look into this sentence in the CHEC obituary: "Her father was mayor of that town and her grandfather mayor of Blenheim before that." I've added her father to her bio; that's all good. There wasn't a mayor of Blenheim with the surname Clarke. I've had a look for her maternal grandfather and that was James Tucker Robinson (died 26 November 1910); he wasn't mayor either.[1] It seems the obituary got that one wrong. He did get elected onto the inaugural borough council in 1869 and even topped the poll. At the time, the councillors elector a mayor from their midst and the vote went to the second person on the list.[2] Schwede66 18:33, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
