Album or EP?[edit]

Surely with ten songs of original material this is not an EP but an album? Karst 13:19, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

Yes, there appears to be some confusion about it. I think the plan initially was to release another EP, like the self-released one. Evidently, as production progressed the project became larger. Billboard refers to it as an album here and the artist is quoted as saying "I originally thought I would do another EP and that it would be this little thing… but then everything blew up. It's different now. I feel like I owe people more."

Another issue is that because of its length it technically would not be able to chart as an EP (in for instance the UK) as it is over 25 minutes in length and contains more then 5 or 6 songs. Karst 08:41, 13 April 2014 (UTC)

We as an encyclopedia do not have to abide by OCC rules of what is and is not an EP, it is up to what the reliable sources refer to it as. HipHopWired, HipHopDX, Vibe, Vibe and Exclaim!. STATic message me! 16:30, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
