When did the programme start broadcasting?

Reference to "the great rescheduling of April 1998"[edit]

You can't just throw in an insider reference like that. You should explain it, or not use it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.147.251.36 (talk) 23:40, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Face the facts[edit]

The programme does not always run for an hour - sometimes, "Face the Facts" comes on at 12: 30pm. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 16:26, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy[edit]

Although hinted at in the In Popular Culture section, the article doesn't really explain why so many listeners find this programme infuriating. It seems to suffer from a lack of budget, so 'interviews' are conducted using prewritten scripts with the interviewers knowing little or nothing about the subject. It also seems to rely on press releases from PR companies - all journalism does this to some extent, but Y&Y seems to be particularly vulnerable to PR spin. It's also padded out with disability stories of little interest to the general population.

This is all very sad for a programme which started out as a campaigning consumer rights show. Unfortunately it's difficult to add it to the article without doing OR or hitting NPOV issues. --Ef80 (talk) 19:28, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of presenters / Shari Vahl[edit]

On some days "You and Yours" is presented by Shari Vahl, although she is not listed as an "official" presenter on the YaY website. What is her official role/status? (My impression is that she presents the programme only on days when it is only 30 minutes or so long but I may be wrong abut that). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.235.203.72 (talk) 13:57, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Call You and Yours[edit]

This article could note how on Tuesdays, the programme normally features "Call You and Yours", an edition of the programme in which members of the public can ring in with general comments. Vorbee (talk) 19:19, 23 May 2017 (UTC) I see that the article does refer to "Phone You and Yours" but I thought this was more commonly called "Call You and Yours".
