John Lennon song?[edit]

Is there a source for the claim that the song was written entirely by Lennon? In The Beatles (p. 554), Bob Spitz writes that unlike most of their songs, which can be credited to one writer or the other, this one was a "near-perfect collaboration." Nareek 16:46, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Paul claims it was co-written('Many Years From Now'), but that it was John's original idea, and gives John 60% of the credit for it. --84.208.224.234 (talk) 04:56, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Recording history[edit]

The section "Composition and Recording" currently begins with the statement:

"The last song recorded before breaking off to make the film..."

This is confusing at best. While it was the last song from the Feb. 65 sessions to make the "Help!" album, there was one more song recorded the following day ("That Means A Lot"), after which The Beatles departed for their first day of shooting Help!
