Possible Merger? NO![edit]
The mere fact that Tripolis (Phrygia) is now near (but separate from) modern Yenicekent is no basis to merge the two; there is no evidence of continuity of history, inhabitants, culture, or anything showing that Yenicekent is in any way a continuation of Tripolis.
