Fair use rationale for Image:TheBeatlesYellowSubmarineSongtrackCover.PNG[edit]

Image:TheBeatlesYellowSubmarineSongtrackCover.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. A Day in the Life[edit]

Hello, I wonder if it's really important to mention that A Day in the Life is not on the songtrack. After all the song is barely heard in the movie. One could argue that Help! is featured more prominently in the movie ;-)

Also, the fact that the song "was not put in because EMI did not want too many songs from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band to be included." isn't backed up by any external link.

Remix confusion[edit]

In sharp contrast with other Beatles remasters available (2009 box sets), the songs were fully remixed from the original multitrack tapes, something not done for the original Compact Disc release of The Beatles catalogue in the late 1980s except for Help! and Rubber Soul, not even in 2009. ... Although all of the tracks were remixed, the songs included on Songtrack are the standard catalogue recordings that were previously available on other releases.

Which is it? The header emphasizes that this remix occurred, but then the body seems to suggest that the remixes were not used on the CD at all. The way it reads is very confusing. If the remixes were not used on the CD which this article is about, then the article should not talk this much about the remixes.98.189.203.163 (talk) 21:44, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction[edit]

While the original 1999 release was in a jewel-case, the 2012 version was released in a digipak, with the booklet and catalogue numbers the same as the earlier version, with a 1999 copyright date on the disc, and a 2012 date on the digipak.

I have the 2012 digipak repackaged release, and I can find no reference to "2012" anywhere on either the digipak or the disc. On both, it states: "P 1999 The copyright in this sound recording is owned by EMI Records Ltd./Apple Corps Ltd." Mine is the same as the one on discogs.com

Songtrack title not explained[edit]

Being a foreigner I understand English quite good (95% or more right away). However, I assume the title Songtrack, instead of the usual Soundtrack is referring to the fact that 20 mins of songs, replaced 20 mins of instrumentals. So that the new album is only made up of songs. But I'm not 100% sure in this. Could you please tell me if my assumpution is right, and also add it to the text if so.
