Officially superseded?[edit]

It is not accurate to say that the Year Books were "superseded" by the English Reports in 1535. They simply stopped (for reasons unknown), and the English reports are a late nineteenth century reprint of the nominate reports. Better to say that the nominate reports follow the Year Books in date; but they did not "officially" replace them, because they were not official publications.James500 (talk) 11:20, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
