I've no opinion at present; however, it appears that the article on the rapper was created with the title 'Yas'. The disambiguation page was originally at YAS and was moved to Yas (disambiguation) 24 Jun 2013. On 9 Sep 2020, WaddlesJP13moved 'Yas' to 'Yas (rapper)' without discussion and change Yas to redirect to Yas (disambiguation) -- this is in the deletion log for Yas, although the log is confusing because resultant name changes in the page. Just a few days later, in 14 Sep 2020, JHunterJ restored things back to how they had been before the undiscussed move. To be clear, the undiscussed move was to move the rapper article away from Yas. The later move was to revert that undiscussed move. older ≠ wiser 10:49, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support we require a very high benchmark to occupy a 3-letter dab. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:52, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support per In ictu oculi. No primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:23, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support, pageviews suggest that there is no primary topic (and certainly provide no indication that the rapper is the primary topic). older ≠ wiser 12:50, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Yas shows the hatnote as the #2 clicked link in the article, though with only 20 outgoing views compared to 1.8k incoming views. It is a very short word and the standard of primary topic should be high. It doesn't seem likely that the average English reader associates the word so strongly with the currently implied primary topic. We should disambiguate, and observe the reader behavior afterwards. --Joy (talk) 07:59, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support. I do not see this as the primary topic, and I would be astonished if I typed this word into the search bar and got this article. My mind goes to the slang version first to be honest, but I think the disambiguation should be the primary focus as listed above. Aoba47 (talk) 17:08, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support the yacht has 2,317 views and the slang has 1,662 compared with only 1,690[[1]] for the rapper. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:38, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
