Comment on 2nd AFD nomination[edit]

I'm kind of bothered that the 2nd AFD closed as "no concensus" when there was actual consensus to keep by the end of the discussion. The only "delete" votes were from editors who just pointed to policies or guidelines and never bothered to come back. But, whatever... what's done is done.--Nohansen (talk) 03:37, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File:Battleship yamato newtype.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Battleship yamato newtype.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 1 October 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

GOCEreviewed[edit]

  • No sources, just one embedded link that leads to an empty page (and the URL suggests it would be a primary source); the AfD keep !votes mention a source, but it hasn't found its way into the article after 4 years. And it's almost all in-universe. --Stfg (talk) 10:56, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • The reference is the movies, surely?? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 09:45, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
