The page suffers Wrong redirection.I clicked on yadava and landed up here which talks of 13th century dynasty.I would suggest the article to be delinked from this dubious looking redirect. There is no such word like yadava in hindi or sanskrit,it exist in english only .yadava link should take to yadav and not to this page.Holywarrior 15:24, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

De-Merged[edit]

I have de-merged the article. The article was irresponsibly merged with Seuna by some fanatics. The condition of Seuna is bad. Yadavas were called Yadavas by the native Marathi people which they ruled and infact they themselves were Marathi. No need to redirect the page to an article on the word which the Kannadis called them. I have added the references which I ama gonna look into and expand this article apart from the fact that they themselves referred to themselves as Yadavas. The North Indians & Muslim rulers too referred to them as Yadavas.

Merge[edit]

I had a look at both the articles. Yadava Dynasty and Suena Dynasty are same. "Yadava dynasty" is the commonly used term, while Suena I guess, more commonly used in Karanataka. utcursch | talk

Merge to Yadava dynasty[edit]

  • Google returns 10,300 results for Yadava dynasty[1], while only few results for Seuna dynasty (37, [2]) and Sevuna dynasty (61, [3]). I suggest that the articles be merged to Yadava dynasty. If anybody has problem, merge at Seuna Yadavas of Devagiri. I will make sure that there is no POV with respect to Marathi and Kannada. utcursch | talk 11:15, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I did some research and realized that Suena, indeed, is the correct name for the dynasty although Yadavas is the more commonly used term. I suggest the article be moved to Seuna Yadavas of Devagiri. utcursch | talk 07:51, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Any attempt to merge without broad consensus and any attempt to remove material about Kannada will be taken for arbitration.
