Original names[edit]

I would like you all to help me improve this edit to this article by translating information relating to the name changes on the corresponding article on the Chinese Wikipedia, as I can't read a lot of Chinese. I have never been to Taiwan, and the only place I have been to where Chinese (Simplified) is one of the four official languages, is Singapore.
