Title/host change?[edit]

I think there's an error here. If I remember correctly, the show's title didn't change to Kids Are People Too until the program was moved to the ABC network (possibly after cancellation by Metromedia), and it ran there well past 1977. McAllister moved with the show, but was almost immediately replaced with a much younger host. McAllister then launched a rival syndicated show which couldn't compete without a major network to promote it. Can anyone confirm? 12.22.250.4 20:09, 7 June 2007 (UTC) Hello I am trying to recall the name of a short lived sitcom from the 80's where a woman was hit by a trolly years ago died went to heaven and was sent back to earth to be the gardyn angel of a family between my bad spelling and how obsqure it is I can't find it on the internet can you help me.[reply]

This article is a mess.[edit]

There is stuff in the introduction that is unsourced. The introduction mentions Bob McAllister using his last name but doesn't even explain who he was. There are show descriptions in the Bob McAllister section that are unclear as to whether they were only part of the show when he was host or when others were host. etc. etc. Dr. Morbius (talk) 22:13, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There's also contradictory citations of the length of the show. One spot says that it ran for three hours for most of its existence; but then the next section claims it ran for four hours while Sonny Fox was host (which is what I remember!). Can someone more tech-savvy and reference-savvy than I fix this?63.116.225.5 (talk) 17:23, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

POV-section[edit]

There are useful and relevant facts in that section on Sonny Fox's tenure as host that could be cited, but when you have sentences beginning "Suave, witty, and congenial ...", I almost don't need to tag it.

That section, in fact, reads like it was copypasted from somewhere else (his NYT obituary, perhaps? It reads like that). I suppose I should run the article through the copyvio detector. Daniel Case (talk) 14:31, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
