"Women Who Rock"[edit]

Originally, I was looking for the article on the TV-Series by the same title. Seems it is just too brand new for that. Also, I discovered that the same phrase is used for a NGO/charity event, fronted by the same artists featured in the show. Some Basic Concerns[edit]

First, I don't edit wikipedia often, so I apologize if this is the wrong way/place to bring this issue up. My concerns all have to do with what seem to me major distortions of the historical record on this topic. The women/topics that go unmentioned are many, and I'm not expert enough to wade in and edit the article with any authority. Examples of what I think should be here but isn't: Disco (including, e.g., Donna Summer, the Pointer Sisters, etc.); R&B (e.g., The Supremes and The Ronettes). Lots of specific women that, to my mind anyway, it would be hard NOT to mention: Grace Slick, Janis Joplin, Debbie Harry.
