Characterization?[edit]

Is it really being intellectually honest to list topics like cars and sports in a description of these channels? I mean, yes, they do come up; however, I'm sure wedding planning has come up on SpikeTV at some point, but I wouldn't use those instances in the discussion thereof. As written, this article offers absolutely no differentiation from other forms of television channels. I realize that this is an attempt to avoid gender stereotypes that some may find distasteful; however, the vast majority of these channels do play to the stereotypes and it is disingenuous to obfuscate that.67.142.178.27 (talk) 03:27, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
