Notability[edit]

How, possibly, could this team be considered "not notable" when Wikipedia is full of articles about independent baseball leagues and teams which hardly ever played, or never even actually played, and junior hockey teams which played for one or two seasons forty or fifty years ago. Unless someone can provide a COMPELLING reason why it should not be done, I say let's remove the WP:Notability tag soon. 72.104.144.150 (talk) 00:17, 10 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. Each sport has different criteria. If you want to find out the criteria of those articles and tag them, feel free to. If the tag is removed, it will be replaced within a short time until the criteria to remove it (citing reliable secondary sources that are independent of the topic and provide significant coverage of it beyond its mere trivial mention) has been met or someone decides to nominate the article for deletion.
