To reduce editting battles, mostly on Williams College, I have consolidated WWRFC and WRFC into Williams College Rugby Football. Specific mens and womens team sections can be created within this article if future editors wish to tease out differences between the teams. Overall, however, their similarities in content and history make much more sense as a single article. CapeCodEph 05:40, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Worth noting that the WRFC competes in Division 2 in the New England Rugby Football Union, not Division 1 as the article states. See their NERFU team page. I'd rather a Wikipedia regular make this change, as the college I currently attend could bias me in making this change.

The WRFC has been relegated to NERFU D3 for the coming season. They reduced numbers in D1 and bumped 4 teams down to D2, so D2 had to make room. A non-Amherst person should probably make the change. Dkf 01:01, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The WRFC was recently promoted back to D2 for the Fall 2008 season after one season in D3. DFelon204409 (talk) 18:04, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, this article had a few errors and odd biases that I edited out or replaced. This article has an odd focus on the women's team relative to the general program. The asides about the smelly jerseys seems geared towards an inside-joke chortle more than an informative view of the club as a whole. Also, whoever added the information about the WRFC getting its crest and colors from Oxford is wrong. They came about from a tour to England where we played with the Huddersfield RFC. This information is both on the official WRFC website (as referenced) and also in history synopsis typed up by founder Dave Coughlin for the WRFC 30th anniversary program.
