Oh certainly; I was curious because a French surname would suggest either Huguenot or Alsatian origin which is certainly common from historical context, but Genazino - considering its phonetic qualities - seems Italo-Iberian, which would be surprising since he's not Tyrolean as far as I read (although there were some Germans with Italian surnames from the confluence of Austria-Hungary's territories who married inward). I think it's fascinating, and perhaps his surname even suggests some ancient noble origin that stuck.
