Untitled[edit]

I'm going to remove some stuff I added for which I couldn't find a source. Oh, and for the record he commanded the 10th SS panzer division before taking over the IInd SS panzer corps.

RS problems for this article & lack of inline citations[edit]

The article uses an online blog/forum as a source, and a Wikipedia article. Throughout there are uncited statements that need sourcing. Also, comments such as "he was the most sarcastic man in Germany" are completely unprovable. HammerFilmFan (talk) 08:36, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I tagged these statements as 'citation needed' and will remove shortly if no sources are provided to back them up. I see that it's been a long-term problem, so the removal would be warranted. --K.e.coffman (talk) 19:34, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Denunciation[edit]

I'd like to remove the section "Purported denunciation of the Nazi Party" as it's cited to WP:Primary, biased source (Speer), unless there are secondary WP:RS sources that can confirm that exchange. Krätschmer[edit]

Is this source needed in the article? It supports a note, and a decoration, in the latter case as one of several citations.

I don't believe multiple cites on the Knight's Cross issues is needed, as long as it is well cited overall; even though there was some irregularly about it in part; I read that Dietrich awarded the swords to him and several others on his own. Kierzek (talk) 15:27, 3 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Removed as not used, now. From what I have read, Scherzer is considered a major source for such information (awards/decorations), who can be used for RS citing. Kierzek (talk) 17:33, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Selbstverlag Florian Berger means "self-published by Florian Berger", so WP:SELFPUBLISH applies. If Berger is the only source available to support a certain statement, then perhaps that info is not notable? K.e.coffman (talk) 20:08, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
