According to ISIL[edit]

What's that? Is al-Masdar a pro-ISIL newspaper? Beshogur (talk) 23:16, 4 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The casualty stats were from Amaq: "During the assault on Tall Qarrah, upwards around 30 YPG combatants were shot dead by the entrenched ISIS fighters who were expecting the offensive, Amaq Agency reported." Editor abcdef (talk) 23:39, 4 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dates[edit]

Hama offinsive had a Ceasefire in the middle and we still didn't divide the date into phases, I don't see the point of these phases being put in the infobox. 3bdulelah (talk) 02:57, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Western al-Bab offensive (September 2016)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Shahba":

  • From Western al-Bab offensive (October 2016): "Ongoing battles in Shahba, a mercenary commander killed". Hawar News. 27 October 2016.
  • From Syrian Democratic Forces military councils: "Kurdish-backed council says Turkey's intervention to make Syrian town "grave for Erdogan troops"". ARA News. 26 August 2016.
  • From Turkish military intervention in Syria: "Kurdish-backed council says Turkey's intervention to make Syrian town "grave for Erdoğan troops"". ARA News. 26 August 2016.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 21:14, 31 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
