Short story?[edit]

I wonder if the following statement is true: "Welsh writers in English have traditionally favoured the short story form over the novel"? Perhaps it should read: "Welsh writers in English favoured the short story form over the novel until after [World War II?]"? Rwood128 (talk) 16:00, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

On further thought the The New Companion to the Literature of Wales is the probable source of the discussion in the lede. However I still think the wording needs revising. Rwood128 (talk) 16:18, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have revised the lede but who are the writers referred to? and when did the novel become more important? This needs to be considered in the body to the article. Rwood128 (talk) 16:36, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Novel[edit]
