This article is about McGregor as a person, not just his "public persona". McGregor has spoken in public about his relationship with his partner, the dancer Antoine Vereecken, for example recently on Desert Island Discs.[1] They have a house together in south Devon.[2] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.73.9.14 (talk) 16:19, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I just watched three of his dances streaming online and read this article which is very much a sales piece without the personal aspect. I've added one sentence which clarifies that his partner is also male (Vereecken). Does this matter? Yes,because there are homoerotic elements in some of his works and his orientation helps explain them. Also, there are a lot of homosexual male choreographers working now, as in the past, and many females are not getting enough work. So there is the question of why this unequal situation exists and how this effects dance content today. Lmlmss44 (talk) 23:35, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
