Merge proposal[edit]

I believe the Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site article should merge into the Watkins Mill article and then be renamed back into Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site. Thoughts? dm (talk) 19:22, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. I always hate articles where the heirarchies get messed up from different views of the same topic.Americasroof (talk) 23:56, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, and I agree with your proposed method, keeping the results under the article for the park and historic site because those are current operations − going concerns, as it were − rather than just a footnote to history... even though they exist to showcase that footnote. --Kbh3rdtalk 06:14, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Completed. One of the easier merges, seeing as how one article consisted of only one or two sentences. Still, look around and see if I messed anything up. What about how I did the duelling infoboxes? I never know quite what to do when the page falls into two major categories like this. I did take dm's advice and moved the Watkins Mill article to this name, rather than copying, in order to preserve the edit history and the talk page; there was nothing needing preservation on the talk page originally here. --Kbh3rdtalk 05:41, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
