Actually, they are not unsourced. Although it's not blatently explicit, the article does refer to Jo Chesher, "The Friends’ (of the Heysen Trail) Patron, C Warren Bonython AO : A Patron’s Walking Life", Trailwalker, Winter 2007, pp.18-20., which is the source.
