He can't be the son of Thomas Franklin & Mary Rhoads as he was born 1799 (on his tombstone), and they both died before this. They also already have an earlier son named Walter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rgurganus (talk • contribs) 03:43, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The listed parents are the parents of Walter Franklin (judge), his uncle. In other words, they are his grandparents. I will be fixing this article shortly, with references. Choor monster (talk) 15:37, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
