I am not very well up on all the notation for providing references, and am not sure why an external link I added now shows as [ 1 ] (no spaces) in the list of references Sorry! anyway, I have left it in as it is, because I don't understand how to make it come out right, or how to paraphrase material from it so it can be cross-referenced to in the list g88keeper (talk) 14:30, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of Name "Wally"[edit]

I don't have a source to confirm this, but I am confident (having attended both festivals) that the adoption of the cry "Wally" originated at the Weeley festival, not the Isle of Wight Rodparkes (talk) 14:49, 26 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
