Fair use rationale for Image:Walkon.jpg[edit]

Image:Walkon.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Writer[edit]

This entry does not include perhaps one of the most important pieces of information about this song: who wrote it. Please include this in the U2 song (& others!) entries! Thanks. Relax777 (talk) 04:36, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Being a U2 song the presumption is that Bono wrote it, which in this case is true. Still the writer credit was not mentioned anywhere in the article. Fixed that.

The "second single in Canada and fourth in the rest of the world" is really awkward but how else to present it? It was not the fourth single here. It wasn't the second single elsewhere. And really, there is a difference between the "Edit" and the "Video Version". The intro is just slightly different. At about 3:50 they really become noticeably different but even the once reputable u2wanderer.org has the wrong lyric published for the "Edit". :( delirious & lost ☯ ~нuɢѕ~ 21:48, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Great job with the re-write and re-organization. I'm not sure if eil.com is a reliable source, but the tracklist is one of the few occassions where the primary source (ie the CD itself) can be used so there shouldn't be problems there. As for the phrasing... how about something like this? "It was released as the second single from All That You Can't Leave Behind in Canada on 20 February 2001, and as the fourth single in the UK and Europe on 19 November 2001." Normally for a tv release (where i can more often be found) one reference easily used is Amazon.whatever but when i looked it has really messed up info for Walk On so i fell back on the most reputable site i know of that sells OOP and rare CDs & LPs. I bought the CDs long ago though i never thought to {{cite cd}} it for a reference. I could have gone completely crazy and included all of the promo releases with their unique mixes and edits like has been done on some of the more recent singles, but then the track listing might need its own article :P Your suggested phrasing would work; i was trying to mirror the language in use in other articles but really i never was comfortable with it. None of those articles deal with the significantly different release orders/dates in different countries in the opening sentence.
