That may be true, but we need to cite a reliable source to put this in the article. The book you linked to above doesn't meet the criteria. Eperoton (talk) 02:52, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wael is christian not muslim[edit]

Wael is christian indeed. And it seems that no matter how many authors mention it in their books, these books will never be accepted as "reliable sources". Perhaps Wael should just come out and state it himself in his next book so this case will be settled once and for all. He is a an Orthodox Christian Palestinian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Whck2018 (talkcontribs) 18:00, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't Hallaq's faith his business? Judge him on his scholarship. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.28.171.42 (talk) 18:04, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

WP has general policies and guidelines that describe what counts as a reliable source. The bar isn't terribly high, but it exists, and it needs to be crossed for the information to appear in the article. Eperoton (talk) 03:22, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
