Untitled[edit]

I reverted this article because in the edits since Jeffq's, facts and details about the movie plot were lost, and exchanged for rambling sentences that added no information. Zephyrad 04:22, 2 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Lets try that again.. ah hem.. I added a lot to it (VotG) so far and hope that it is to everyone's liking. I 'accidently' (more like newbie error 101) delted the convo here. Thanks to reviving it. Anyway let me know what you think. I am proud to be a part of the Films Project and we have a lot more to get to. I have seen VotG more then a few times in both MST3K and regular so I know it pretty well. If theres anything that should be added to the trvia or otherwise lets do it. I hate seeing movies on here that have only a few paragraphs and don't give a lot of info that people that are coming here should expect to see. Lets hope this fixed that and more can be added. Let's hope that these future revisions and contributions will be promptly checked (if not prechecked) for brevity, clarity, grammar and spelling. While the new data may be of interest, using more words than necessary to make a point, and muddying up clear, tight sentences by tacking on (or substituting) faulty phrasing and punctuation takes away more than it gives. There is a difference between telling an informal story to friends, and writing in a professional manner. Please take note. Zephyrad 23:41, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, Freddy Cannon WAS heard from again. [1] Be careful whom you send to the cornfield, Anthony. ;-) Zephyrad 00:49, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You can be a little nicer there ha ha. There was very little there when I started adding to it a few months ago. I just put stuff on to help start things going. Change it as you wish. I'm sorry I'm not as well spoken or grammar perfect as you.. but I'm trying. There was very little here when I started. I just put in things. If you want to perfect it to your standards feel free to do so. No need for sarcastic comments or anything. Just change it as you see fit. But glad to see others enjoy this movie as much as I did. But just remember real people are contributing here so be a little less harsh. Especialy to someone newish as I am. Much appreciated :) PantheraLeo 01:49, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Users 165.21.83.246, 165.21.83.240, 220.255.111.201 and 220.255.123.5 all appear to be the same person, trying to insert the same nonsense and non-notable trivia into this article, and each has received prior vandalism warnings (admins please take note). I am glad to see the helpful contributions here; the ones made by the above-numbered are not among them. Zephyrad 14:20, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:VOTGposter.jpg[edit]

Image:VOTGposter.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

WTH?[edit]

Hm, I see several perfectly good bullet points from this article have instead been turned into halfhearted sentence fragments, instead of proper sentences that compose paragraphs. Shame on such poor editing and its perpetrators. Zephyrad (talk) 06:09, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
