Dubious[edit]

What would a KGB man have to do with ordering PVO troops to shoot down an intruder? That doesn't make the slightest bit of sense. Sounds like some more nonsense from the "rescue Larry McDonald from Soviet concentration camp!" crowd. 69.159.60.66 (talk) 16:47, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I do not know of any source that attributes to Chebrikov any part in the shootdown of KAL 007.
