"The DMZ spanned the whole width of present-day Vietnam (several hundred kilometres)..." I'm no expert on this subject, but this seems wrong, e.g., http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/national/longterm/vietnam/map.htm - I guess I'll "fix" this, but if some expert knows how to better explain this, please do so. This article seems incomplete, there is no information about what happend to the Vietnamese DMZ during and after the Vietnam War.
