editing[edit]

Sorry Wongm, I didn't know about the "inuse" feature - otherwise I would've put it up. Hopefully my new version doesn't conflict with what you put up!

I've tried to get more sense out of the article, and I'm happy with it for now.

My version is way different - it is more than just listing codes and recodings, which you can get by looking at the work of PJV, Mark Bau and others - but a 'overall look' of the wagons in general. Wongm (talk) 12:58, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I actually found it quite difficult to make sense of PJV and Bau's sites, because it's spread out. What if I add a summary of my findings, in it's own title at the bottom of "short wagons" and "long wagons"?
I can put an example here, and then add it after approval? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Steamtostay (talkcontribs) 13:08, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You can copy your revision and put it into User:Steamtostay/Victoria Railways motor car transport and work on it there.
However, I think going into gory detail of wagon codes falls into stuff that Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Will have to get some other opinions... Wongm (talk) 13:24, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
How's this? Note I've only done up to and including "short wagons" - I'll do the rest tomorrow. Steamtostay (talk) 14:05, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
