Varennes (disambiguation) → Varennes – Varennes (disambiguation) is now a redirect to Varennes, before a redirect to Varennes-en-Argonne, moved in 2005. This small village is clearly not the primary topic, look at Varennes (disambiguation). The page was moved in 2005 [1] because the page was created in 2003 with the title [2] At that time, 20 years ago, the situation was different but now there are at least 7 pages, about small village like this one in France, as reported in Varennes_(disambiguation)#France and not only, for example Varennes, Quebec, a place in Canada much bigger than the other ones. Many link should redirect to Flight to Varennes. In other cases it's different. For example in Alfred Albert Martineau Varenne means Varennes, Dordogne, in 1747 in Canada it refers to Varennes, Quebec, already fixed. MrKeefeJohn (talk) 12:44, 24 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Support Varennes, Quebec has 559 views and 21,198 people while Varennes-en-Argonne has 625[[3]] views and 635 people and the Quebec one is a full match even though it could be named after Varennes-en-Argonne. Also Fr Wiki has a DAB here. Crouch, Swale (talk) 20:25, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
