Untitled[edit]

This article should not be deleted. It provides valuable information. That information is important to the understanding of Technocracy. Although some self promoted self generated material is obviously here with so many links to TechCa, this article is salvageable. This new file makes a difference already http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dfx7rfr2_29n46jr9 A Place To Live In. Wilton Ivie Technocracy Digest Nov.1955. It is a clean file with no baggage and the information in it is very valuable. Although most of the content here is self generated original conclusion stuff, this article can be pared down and streamlined into something good.(skip sievert 22:36, 17 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Link to Study Course[edit]

Skip, why did you put this here? You yourself have stated many times that Urbanates are not even mentioned in the Study Course, so why do you think that it is relevant to put a link to the Study Course here? --Kolzene 01:49, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The entire concept of Technocracy is found in the Study Course. It originated from the Study Course. Obviously new terminology was introduced by Techinc along the way also. Why would you not want to have the precedent document of the entire movement here ? Research by Wilton Ivie and others in the 1950`s developed the concept of Urbanates to the satisfaction of Howard Scott. That means that the purpose of Techinc as a research organization under Scotts supervision was good enough to compile the Study Course, and the material by Wilton Ivie. The concept of Urbanates comes from the written ideas from the Study Course. It is an extrapolation on that. It is the redesign of a culture. The person that wrote the article was a Technocrat that got his education about Technocracy by the only document that was written to that purpose. The Technocracy Study Course.(skip sievert 23:36, 18 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]
