Now, I may not be great at math, but it seems to me that when Iraq, Israel and Afghanistan all are receiving 51.14% of total military aid from 2006, something may be awry in the data on the table in this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.98.134.243 (talk) 18:32, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Historical context[edit]

This article is in desperate need of some historical context. It only covers the last eight years or so. When did foreign military financing start? When did it get an official line item in the budget? How has the amount changed historically? etc etc etc. Bookgrrl holler/lookee here 14:05, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal[edit]

Proposing a merger to United States military aid on the grounds that 1 article on a topic is better than 2 articles on the same topic.E.M.Gregory (talk) 23:17, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose merge on the grounds that the scope of the articles is different. United States military aid is the broader topic, and is an overview of the funding, which can occur through 3 different streams, of which United States Foreign Military Financing (the FMF program) is only one.
