Allegations of sexual misconduct - in the 1960s?[edit]

There were numerous cases of sexual misconduct by UN peacekeeping forces, especially in the Congo. This has been acknowledged by the UN itself (such as the letter of 24 March 2005 from the Secretary-General to the President of the General Assembly).

Is there a reason this topic is not mentioned here ? דןברקת (talk) 10:42, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

All the instances of sexual misconduct that I have heard about were during the mission from 1999 (MONUC, later MONUSCO from 2010, still in place). If you are indeed talking about that mission, please add data to MONUSCO#Criminal activity. This article is about the mission from 1960 to 1965. If you have information about allegations of misconduct 1960-65, please add them here if they are based on reliable sources. Buckshot06 (talk) 03:21, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
