Not much to do here, eh'? Jeffrey Gu| Cyclone 02:49, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Good work, JG! The article still needs a copy-edit, but overall I'm impressed by what you've done here. Are you planning on taking to GAN some day? Auree 03:45, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello YE, I will review this article today. It's been a while since I've reviewed a TC-related article.

  • " Flo began to rapidly intensify, and on September 17, Flo attained peak intensity." - Considering how strong Flo was, I think you should mention maybe the maximum sustained wind or the minimum pressure
    • The problem with this, and this is a longtime practice of mine in this basin is I don't want to play favorites among the JTWC and JMA, pre-2000 at least. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:08, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "In Okayama prefecture on the main Japanese island" --> "In Okayama Prefecture on the main Japanese island"
  • "rainfall was 300% of normal in some locations on the island as of mid-September 1991" - I think you meant September 1990
  • "Monetary damage amounted to ¥132 billion or US$918 million across the country." - But the infobox says $4 billion USD
    • EMDAT says what would be $4 billion but I'm not sure if I should trust it over DT... I'll hold off because this could affect other articles. YE Pacific Hurricane 00:08, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • @Yellow Evan: Can you at least add that citation to the total in the infobox so then it doesn't look like you just made up that number? I'll pass the article after you do that--12george1 (talk) 21:42, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
        • Sure but this is subject to change @12george1:. Once I do more Japan typhoons, I'll re-considering changing it back. YE Pacific Hurricane 11:10, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Flo began to transitioned into an extratropical cyclone." --> " Flo began to transition into an extratropical cyclone."
  • "In Nagasaki prefecture, one person was injured." --> "In Nagasaki Prefecture, one person was injured."
  • "the typhoon deluged Okayama prefecture with heavy rains" --> "the typhoon deluged Okayama Prefecture with heavy rains"
  • "On the southern tip of Honushu, in Wakayama prefecture" --> "On the southern tip of Honshu, in Wakayama Prefecture"
  • "Along the west coast of central Japan, in Toyama prefecture, heavy rains caused" --> "Along the west coast of central Japan, in Toyama Prefecture, heavy rains caused"
  • "The town hall on Yusa Town, the roof of the town hall was destroyed." - Re-word that to something like this: "In Yusa Town, the roof of the town hall was destroyed."
  • "Four structures in Sakata City lot their roof." --> " Four structures in Sakata City lost their roof."
  • "on the island as of mid-September 1991 while sunshine time was a mere 64% of average" - Again, I think you mean September 1990?
  • "Nationwide, 40 fatalities were reported and 131 others sustained injuries." - The infobox says there were 38 deaths
  • "Typhoon Batters Japan". The Pioneer Press. Retrieved January 15, 2012." - Add the publication date
  • "Typhoon Flo slams into Okinawa". United Press International. September 18, 1990." - Was this accessed through Lexis Nexis?
  • "15 Dead, Seven Missing as Typhoon Flo Hits Western Japan". Associated Press. September 10, 1990." - That publication date cant be right. Did you mean September 20?

Well, I found several issues with this article, but they are minor in nature. So I will give you a week or two to work on these.--12george1 (talk) 19:22, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I will be passing this article now. Good job!--12george1 (talk) 04:34, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
