Bahri dynasty[edit]

Isn‘t it better to take the Bahri dynasty, which was a period of Mamluk egypt, then mamluk sultanate as hos whole? Since Bahri family was just Kipchak turkic, and the following was of Caucasian origin.

Regarding the article context[edit]

Wouldn't this be better as a category page? Elm-39 - T/C 18:25, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well i'm planning on expanding the article. There is alot of information on this subject i.e. the History of Turkish presence in Egypt and how the population today is almost indistinguishable due to their integration after WW1. Turco85 (talk) 14:20, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Egyptian Turks[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
This discussion was a formality to save Turkmen oglu's edits while retaining the page's original title. The effective result of this process was merge. Ibadibam (talk) 23:40, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Egyptian Turks was a redirect to Turks in Egypt until Turkmen oglu made it into a duplicate of the original page. There's no reason for this to be a separate page. Ibadibam (talk) 23:44, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Egyptian Turks hasn't the same information as in Turks in Egypt, Turks in Egypt has no information about history and and little information about population.
so I refuse to merge my article to Turks in Egypt or to redirect my article to another article
Turkmen oglu (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 23:06, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Please just add the information about history and population to the existing article: Turks in Egypt. We should improve existing articles. We shouldn't create a new article if another article already exists on that subject. Ibadibam (talk) 23:17, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've done it for you, so you can better understand what I'm talking about. You can see the changes highlighted here. Ibadibam (talk) 23:27, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your edits! I'll now revert the pages to their original redirects. Ibadibam (talk) 22:50, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted huge copy paste talk edits from other pages[edit]

The large illustration on Ottomon or mamluk should be in those separate pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beronzya (talkcontribs) 22:21, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
