Tzanars played a great role in forming of Georgian nation. Not only Mokhevians but Kakhelians are also descendants of Tzanars. There are a lot of proofs that they were of Georgian(Kartvelian) origion. If they were not It means that two main Georgian tribes are not Georgians? "Vladimir Minorsky believes, however, that they were the Nakh-speakers. The modern Circassian historian Amjad Jaimoukha also supports this." He believes but there is no reason for him to belive it. There are no proofs that they were Nakh-speakers. Vladimir Minorsky is not cited (I didn't add him, I believe), and by the way neither is the theory (that you neglected to mention) that the Tzanars were Sarmatians cited on this page. However, Jaimoukha's testimony about Tzanars, Bats, etc (referencing 18th century Georgian historian Vakhushti) is, so you can't really delete that simply because you disagree. You can, however, add info that they may have instead been Kartvelians if you have sources for it. --Yalens (talk) 22:07, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
