25 Cents Theatre Program -- "Troy Kotsur (Harry) makes his NYDT debut with "25 Cents". He was a member of NTD for several seasons performing in "Farwell, My Lovely", "Treasure Island", and as Hamlet in "Ophelia". Other theatre credits include "Mother Hicks", "In a Room Somewhere" and as a touring member of NTID's "Sunshine Too". Recently he performed in "The Night of January 16th" for the DeatWork Theatre Co. in Phoenix. He has appeared on TV in "A Man Called Hawk", "In A Grove" and with NTD's "Farwell, My Lovely". A native of Mesa, Arizona, Troy treasures the courage of his parents, Leonard and JoDee, and dedicates each performance to them and the memory of his brother, Brent."
I have been working on expanding this article to cover Kotsur's theater background, and an editor has removed the list of Kotsur's stage credits wholesale. In addition, they have screwed up the article body in breaking up passages and not keeping citations attached. Can editors involved with theater articles comment about going about listing stage credits? Not sure if removing an unhelpful table and restructuring the page with commonly-used headings can be considered "blanking." Unclear on the repeated reverts to a version of the page that includes a massive chunk of text under the vague "background" heading. Also, unless the plays are notable, including an entire table (complete with cells left blank) of Deaf West theatre productions seems highly unnecessary. I am not seeing any guidelines about presenting theater actor's stage credits and have notified Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Theatre and Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Actors and Filmmakers. The lack of blue links does not mean that the stage credits cannot be listed. Also, there is no required layout for an actor's article, so nothing requires "Early life and education" and "Career" and "Personal life" to be repeated every time. I was going to see after expanding the article under just "Background" how it could be separated further. Furthermore, you've created sentences that have no citations at their end, making them look unsourced. And I was populating the table cells as I expanded the article. Thinking that listing Deaf West Theatre productions is "unnecessary" is only your opinion. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 00:44, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Researching this further, the Featured Article John Gielgud, roles and awards shows a pretty comprehensive list of stage acting credits. I think not listing these credits implies a bias toward only film and television, even when these screen roles are extremely minor.
