Requested move 7 November 2016[edit]

Reopened request 26 December 2016[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

Upon review of this discussion and the subsequent move review, there is a consensus in the move review that the oppose vote in this discussion is addressed to a different issue from the move being proposed. Therefore, the result of this discussion is 'moved without opposition as to Typhoon Son-Tinh (2012), Typhoon Sanba (2012), and Tropical Storm Rai (2016); and not moved as to Tropical Storm Jebi (2013). bd2412 T 14:33, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

– This was the only storm of its name so far. 219.79.127.251 (talk) 07:51, 6 November 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. Armbrust The Homunculus 04:01, 26 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: @219.79.127.251: It doesn't make sense why would you request a deletion of this (or 4) articles because it is the first time it is named. It doesn't have to be, as long as the storm made effects on land. Typhoon2013 (talk) 11:15, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support the latter three de-disambiguation proposals on those titles as unnecessary dabs. However, oppose removing "2013" for Jebi; there are other Jebis. --George Ho (talk) 10:48, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright concerns[edit]

The entirety of the Impact section is copied from a few different sources. The Philippines section is copied from here and the China/Vietnam sections (Vietnam first paragraph) from here. The prose is not entirely basic and I have tagged one paragraph as a copyright violation, but the entire section is almost all copyvio. If someone is watching this page and wants to fix it, great, but I'm inclined to remove it soon. Sennecaster (What now?) 14:36, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
