Here are my comments:

  • "The third tropical cyclone and two named storm of the 2010 Atlantic hurricane season, Bonnie developed as a tropical depression from a tropical wave over the Bahamas on July 22." minor grammar error
  • " Bonnie crossed the Bahamas as a minimal tropical storm, and further went on to make landfall on the southeastern coast of Florida on the following day" the "further went" part need to be re-worded
  • "In July, a tropical wave exited the African coast, moving over the open Atlantic toward the west for several days" when in July? July 1? July 2? July 13? July 21? July 30? July 31?
  • "Upon developing, the depression was forecast to be steered to the west-northwest along a well-established subtropical ridge." grammar error, re-word "upon developing" part of the sentence if possible.
  • Any preps in the Grater Antilles?
    • Considering that Bonnie hadn't developed yet, I don't think that there would be any preparations.--12george1 (talk) 18:59, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • Did you check?
      • I checked after you asked, and I found nothing.
  • More info about the preparations BP made due to Bonnie because if I recall correctly the storm received a lot of attention due to the oi spill.
    •  Done
  • What was the peak rainfall in Florida?
    • Sorry, I can't find the peak rainfall for Florida, I added the data from HPC, but it was lower than amounts NCDC reported in northern Miami-Dade County. As a result, it was causing confusion and needed to be removed.--12george1 (talk) 20:24, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • No need to inflate data given the fact that 2010 USD and 2011 USD are almost the same.
    • I see no harm in keeping them, and besides, they would just have to be put back on there in like 7 months anyway.--12george1 (talk) 18:59, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nice article. YE Tropical Cyclone 03:18, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Passed. Congratulations. YE Tropical Cyclone 00:21, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Huh?[edit]

"Rainfall was also minimal, with a maximum of 3.25 in (83 mm) falling in northern Miami-Dade County.[31] Within the state of Florida, rainfall peaked at 2.59 in (66 mm) in Perrine"

How does that work? The statewide peak was less than an observation in northern Miami-Dade? --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:17, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
