Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on November 21, 2008.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that Tropical Storm Becky produced heavy rainfall in Tallahassee, Florida in 1970, causing flood-related losses to 104 families?

Rainfall graphics coming early next week[edit]

It was just discovered last week that I had missed creating rainfall graphics for this storm, despite thinking I was already back to 1963. This omission should be corrected in the next few days. Thegreatdr (talk) 17:56, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Doppler radar?[edit]

I changed the text of the article from the redlink of doppler radar to weather radar, as the NWS network was using WSR-57s at the time, which were not doppler sets. The doppler network was used from the early 1990s onward. If a research doppler radar was used in connection with this storm, in which reference is this factoid located? Impact[edit]

Now that the rainfall graphic is produced, at least some impacts outside the state of Florida are known. Thegreatdr (talk) 03:51, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
