Instruments[edit]

I am looking for proper sources about Bolder’s gear. In the Bowie years he played a red Fender Mustang bass, a Rickenbacker bass, and early 1970s Gibson EB3 basses. From 1970-1972 the EB3 had a slotted headstock, and the neck pickup located close to the neck. There are pictures of him with a “cherry” coloured EB3, and a black EB3. A black one was auctioned in 2006.
