This page should not be speedy deleted because this group is doing real, valid work which affects the trans community in the UK and has made real progress with the UK media, particularly Channel 4. TMW has generated much interest in the LGBT press, as well as amassing a sizeable following on twitter and forging relationships with government. TMW is fast becoming one of the most notable trans charities in the UK and it is appropriate it has an entry. This page should not be speedy deleted because it is similar to GLAAD, which is a similar organization in the US, whose page is not under speedy-delete threat. This page should not be speedy deleted because Trans Media Watch is a notable British activist group, referenced by the Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone for their work. This page should not be speedy deleted because... - it is a description of an organisation that promotes the correct terminolgy/pronouns to be used within the media when reporting about people who have gender dysphoria (transsexualism) and thereby not only avoiding causing offence but stopping the media falling foul of the 2004 Gender Recognition Act and/or the 2010 Equality Act. working on improving[edit]

I'm just putting this here to declare clearly my intent to try and salvage this article. It was started in good faith by a member of the organisation - a new Wikipedian no less - and I do not believe it to be in dispute that the organisation itself meets notability guidelines.

The place to start would be a hunt for press coverage of the organization. There is the PinkNews piece already cited, and also this one and this one, possibly others from that site too.
