Dan tu[edit]

What is the "dan tu" shown here (second from top)? Is it the same as "dan doan"? Badagnani (talk) 19:26, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of description[edit]

Under "plucked strings" is the following:

Đàn đoản (also called đàn tứ) - moon-shaped lute with short neck; little used.

Clicking on the Đàn đoản link redirects one to the Đàn tứ page, where the instrument pictured has a rectangular body, yet is described in the text as having a "moon-shaped body". "Moon-shaped" usually means "round", as with the Chinese yueqin, with which the Đàn tứ. is compared.

Which is it?

This is confusing and needs to be fixed. Is the Đàn tứ moon-shaped, or is it rectangular? If it can be either or both, then is it incorrect to describe it as simply "moon-shaped", and this should be made clear. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.95.43.249 (talk) 20:44, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
