Contradiction[edit]

Many people go to North Korea as it is not a frequently visited place. Isn't this self-contradictory? Goplat 14:38, 19 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tourism[edit]

On the official North Korea tourism homepage you can read something about ONE tour trough Korea. Could somebody who made this tour tell me what you exactly can see and what flights you make with Air Koryo? Dagadt

Canadians, Protestants and Israelis[edit]

US citizens[edit]

The same way the USA has restricted its citizens from travelling to Cuba. Theoretically a U.S. citizen could try to book a trip to North Korea via one of the handful of travel agencies that arrange such tours, but the citizen would risk prosecution by the U.S. government. It's also very likely that the travel agencies would automatically reject any application from a U.S. citizen. In the past the USA has also banned travel to various countries in the Middle East and the former Eastern Bloc without special leave of the State Department[1]. Luo[edit]

This wikipedia page mentions a north eastern region of North Korea called “Luo” that supposedly Chinese people can drive into, take picture, ect. There is no source, no wikipedia page and I can’t find anything about this on google, google maps or anything. I've seen various news reports about Chinese tourists being allowed to take part in self-driven tours of N. Korea in recent years, but admittedly I can't find any reference to any region of N. Korea called "Luo". Unless perhaps the area is known by different names in the Chinese and Korean languages. @Jack Upland: any ideas? —Muzilon (talk) 03:18, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
